A car shell that was found on a Derbyshire farm has been restored into a classic Rolls-Royce, making £700,000 at a Californian auction.
The chassis of the 1907 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost was being used as a cart when it was found in 1986. An American bought the shell and restored what is the oldest surviving Silver Ghost. Christie's expected it to make as much as £700,000.
